If picked, the student will receive up to a $25,000 reward. Each scholarship program year, the number of scholarships will be decided by available finances, with up to ten (10) awards issued.

Assuming there are eligible candidates, each limited contribution from a donor requires one (1) student to be a resident of Des Moines, Iowa.

If there are no qualifying candidates from Des Moines, IA, one prize should go to a student from another part of Iowa.

Assuming there are eligible candidates, the donor’s limited gift requires two (2) beneficiaries to be from either Bayfield High School in Bayfield, WI or Cleveland High School in Cleveland, MN.

Awards can be used for any education-related cost. Awards are renewable for up to four (4) more years or until a first associate or bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever comes first, depending on full-time attendance and good academic achievement.

Recipients may transfer from an associate’s to a bachelor’s degree program while maintaining the award. Only undergraduate students are eligible for the rewards.
