1. AIU Academic Educational Alliances Grant

This is a tuition grant for students who have previously attended an institution with which AIU has a signed articulation agreement; the percentage varies by Alliance.

2. AIU Academic Progress Scholarship

This scholarship gives up to $3,000 toward tuition and fees for students entering their final 60 credit hours of study at AIU who have demonstrated leadership potential, academic promise, and achievement

3. AIU Advantage Grant

This scholarship offers $500 – $1,000 for students who face extreme personal and/or financial hardships

4. AIU Corporate Educational Alliances Grant

Description: A tuition grant for employees of Corporate Educational Alliance members (or an employee’s immediate family member); the percentage varies by Alliance.

5. AIU International Scholarship

Up to $8,000 is the award of this scholarship for incoming international students whose academic record is considered worthy of recognition.

6. AIU Lifelong Learning Grant

Up to $1,000 for AIU undergraduate alumni who intend to pursue a graduate degree at AIU given out for this grant. You can apply for this grant Online, Atlanta campus, and on the Houston campus.

7. AIU MSIT Lifelong Learning Grant

Up to $6,000 is given out to students who completed a Bachelor’s degree at AIU and are looking to enroll in the Masters of Science in Information Technology degree program.

This grant is only available in Houston Campus

8. AIU Success Grant

Up to $2,000 is given out to new undergraduate students with 36 transfer credits or less who have achieved academic success through their first academic year at AIU.

Application for this grant is available online, Atlanta Campus, and at the Houston Campus.

9. AIU Resilience Grant

Grant Description: For new students who are enrolled in a Title IV qualified program at AIU but are unable to continue their study without financial aid, up to $11,000 – $17,000 each academic year (depending on campus and program).

Consideration may be given to students who have used up their financial aid eligibility or have lost it for schemes like military benefits, employer tuition reimbursement, federal or state financial aid, or who are not qualified for Title IV federal financial aid.

Grants and Scholarships for Military Students

Our military students’ service and sacrifice are honored by AIU. We think that every member of the armed forces ought to have affordable access to a top-notch postsecondary education.

AIU offers a 45% tuition discount to undergraduate students who are active military members. The reserve U.S. military is also eligible for this rate.

AIU have established four grant and scholarship programs for active-duty military service personnel, veterans, and their families in addition to the financial aid offered to all AIU students who qualify:

Military students may be eligible for grants and scholarships.

1. AIU Veterans Grant       

Eligibility: Veterans of the U.S. military that have a discharge that is other than dishonorable.

Award: Up to $1,500.

Grants and Scholarships for International Students

1. International Fellowship at AIU (Atlanta Campus, Houston Campus, and Online)

International students are given the AIU International Scholarship if they have academic records that merit attention.

The scholarship grant, which has a maximum annual value of $8,000, must be applied to the cost of tuition and fees for any bachelor’s or master’s degree program.

Over the course of each program’s duration, the scholarship will be awarded proportionately.

If a student is awarded a scholarship for a bachelor’s degree and wants to pursue a master’s degree, they must reapply for that scholarship.

2. AIU International Student Grant

AIU has established a grant to help qualified international students from particular nations who are interested in enrolling in one of its degree programs.

A third party having a formal agreement with AIU must refer a student in order for them to be eligible for the international student grant.

This Grant is not available to students who are qualified for Title IV funding.

3. AIU Language Center Grant for International Students

To help international students who are interested in enrolling in a degree program at AIU, the university has established a grant in the name of its language center partners.

A student must be suggested by a language facility that has a signed agreement with AIU in order to be eligible for this Grant. This Grant is not available to students who are qualified for Title IV funding.
