Al-Maktoum College Scholarship aid with funding students’ education. There are two(2) financial scholarships available to students enrolled in the academic year 2023. Based on academic merit, the Academic Excellence Scholarship will be given out.
In other words, scholarships will be given to those who show the highest level of academic distinction in their coursework.
Students who qualify for the Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Bursaries will get funding based on their unique circumstances.
These grants are provided to help students who might have trouble paying for and attending full-time school.
Al-Maktoum College Scholarship|The College
The College is a place where aptitude and potential are recognized more than background or race on every level.
It is a place where everyone is accepted and has access to higher education.
The objective for excellent teaching and learning, enhanced by a multicultural perspective, makes for a wonderful educational experience.
They are primarily funded by the Al-Maktoum Foundation.
Simple is the goal. Being an independent, globally renowned center of higher education, we want to develop.
With academic, technical, and specialized programs approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and the UK Quality Assurance Agency(QAA), the College places a strong emphasis on lifelong learning.

Academic Excellence Scholarship
This is a scholarship of £2,000 which will be awarded as a tuition fee discount. This scholarship is available to students who meet the following criteria:
1. Hold an offer of study at Al-Maktoum College for one of the following:
- MSc Law & Sustainability
- MSc Moral Economy & Sustainability
- MSc Strategic Organisational Learning
- Professional Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance
- Executive Diploma in Islamic Finance & Entrepreneurship
- Diploma in Moral Economy & Sustainability
- Advanced Diploma in Islamic Studies
2. Have demonstrated excellence in your academic career (a good honors degree or equivalent) or relevant work experience
Offer holders for the Academic Excellence Scholarship will be automatically reviewed and no application is needed. If you have already received and accepted an offer, you will receive a separate decision on this scholarship.
How to Apply
Before submitting an application for a bursary or scholarship, you must first have applied and been given a study offer.
Please send an email to [email protected] to request access to the application form once you have firmly accepted your program offer.
Applications for funding will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and students should be aware that submitting an application does not ensure they will receive funding.
There is no application required; offer holders for the Academic Excellence Scholarship will immediately be reviewed. If you have already been given an offer, a decision about this scholarship will be communicated to you separately.
Each student will receive an invitation to an interview.
The application is not active at this time. Please be aware that sponsored students are not qualified for financial aid or scholarships.
